If you’re looking for a no ordinary wall color for your kid’s nursery, take a look at this one. It’s kinda minty and together with gold, yellow and grey accents looks really amazing! I like that this room for baby Fletcher is filled with original handcrafted stuff starting from the cutest cloud mobile with golden stars and ending with minimalistic, modern and stylish arts above the changing table and personalized due to cool chalkboard on the wall above the crib. Also one thing that caught my attention was this awesome teepee, where child can cozy up when he grows up a little. DIY Original Colored Pasta
We found an interesting idea for you and your kids! How about adding more colors to your life? You will need pasta, isopropyl alcohol, jars with lids and gel food coloring. Fill jar about 3/4 full with noodles, add isopropyl alcohol to cover and add food coloring. Put the lid on and shake. Let sit overnight. The next morning, strain off the liquid and cover a cookie sheet with paper towels. Pour out the noodles and don’t let the colors touch, as they are still dyeable at this point. Let them dry for another day. If you’re ready to string cut lengths of twine or yarn about 3 feet long. Tie a noodle to the end as a stopper. Let the little ones thread away. Tie off when done and trim any extra edges.
DIY Peekaboo Reindeer Stockings
Look at these adorable crafts and try to make them! You will need printable Christmas stocking and reindeer template, felt, fabric, needle, embroidery thread, yarn, scissors, water-soluble pen, markers, cord, pom-poms, pins and sewing machine. Print the template. Cut out the patterns and trace the sock (twice), the cuff, and the toe caps onto felt, then cut the felt pieces. Decorate your sock with the felt bands and embroidery! Pin the color felt bands onto the front of your stocking and stitch them on using yarn and a running stitch, arrowhead stitches, or simple straight stitches. Combine those stitches using different colors of yarn. The rest of the tutorial is in the source, finish and enjoy!
Bright DIY Fabric Pom Pom Baby Crib Mobile To Make
While getting ready for your little one to arrive, you need to prepare so many things in his or her future room! And making a mobile to hang over the baby’s crib isn’t the last thing to take care of. How about this bright and cute one with pom poms? To make this you need styrofoam balls, fabric, glue gun, embroidery hoop, rope, yarn, ribbon, fishing wire, something round to trace and scissors. First paint in white the inside of the embroidery hoop and let it dry. Then trace and cut out many (about 40-50 per 1 pom pom) little circles of fabric. Once you finished with cutting, begin gluing them onto the styrofoam balls. How to do that and what to do next, read at firsttimefancy.com. Enjoy!
DIY Christmas Tree Doll House
It’s so nice to make something by yourself and especially if you make it for your kids. Let’s make this Christmas tree doll house. First of all print the templates and trace the shapes on to cardboard. You can mount colorful papers, or white papers to color and draw on, on to the cardboard at this stage. Templates are marked with A, B, C and the 3 pieces of A, for example, form one triangle room. Put the 3 pieces together and fix with tape on the back. If you have duct tape, that would keep them together strongly. Make all 3 rooms. Make a ladder by folding a long strip of paper in half lengthways and cut with scissors. Read the rest of the tutorial here and finish the craft!
Lovely Powder Blue And White Nautical Baby Boy’s Nursery Design
This baby boy’s nursery for me looks like a breath of fresh sea breeze. It’s so cute, light and soft! Without being too nautical-themed and sugary sweet, this room brings this calm feeling and makes me think that a baby would be really comfy here. I like how rustic-like wood elements contrast with breezy combination of powder blue and white. I love all the furniture shapes, just a little bit curvy and classic. The room looks completed and thought over from the first to the last detail, it looks clean and immaculate, just the way a baby’s room should be. Take a look and catch some ideas!
Easy DIY Sensory Play Box For Your Kids
Every kid should develop constantly, and he or she can play not only with toys. Look at this developing game: it carries away the kid so that he or she can play with it for a long time and develop the imagination. For making this sensory play box you will need only a big volume box and the dried-up beans or haricot. This game is very important because your kid will develop a small motility of hands and the imagination. You can play together: dig in little things and ask your kid to find. Also you can put there the favorite toys of your child.
Adorable DIY Felt Finger Puppets That Your Kid Can Make
These cutest finger puppets are so easy to make, even your kid can sew on his or her own! The supplies are a template, some felt in different colors, embroidery needle, embroidery floss and scissors. To make the fox first you need to download the template from the source, print it and cut out the felt shapes. Then start embroidering the face by making a stitch on the white felt fur, black nose, mouth, and eyes, and sewing the tail. Then sew together the front and back pieces. Your fox is ready for play! Read more on handmadecharlotte.com and you’ll know how to make the rest of the toys. Enjoy!
DIY Giant Ornament Balloons For Christmas
We are sure that your kids love giant balloons. Of course, they are so attractive and original. So if you’ll make these ornament balloons your kids will be happy! You will need 36″ balloons, metallic cardstock, metallic pipe cleaners, strong tape, hot glue and scallop scissors. Cut a strip to your desired size for the ornament topper. It can be about 4″ by 12″. You can scallop one edge of the strip, but that’s totally optional! Tape or hot glue the ends of the strip together, and then glue a pipe cleaner to the top of the cylinder you just made, forming a loop. Last but not least, tape or hot glue (use the gun on the low heat setting) your ornament topper to your balloon, covering up the balloon’s tail. Have fun!
Darling Fox Themed Baby Shower Party To Get Inspired
It’s so awesome when you and your best friend are going through pregnancy at the same time, because then you have someone who really understands you at the moment. Ashley and Vargo happened to be expecting a child near the same time, so they both hosted sweet showers for each other. This lovely fox themed baby shower was arranged by Vargo in honor of Ashley. I love the fall elements she included, and you can do the same thing and design a kid’s birthday or a baby shower now using key winter elements like snowflakes, pinecones, etc. I also adore all those simple yet cute paper foxes all around the room, which highlight the theme and adds to the décor some fun. Take a look and get inspired!
