Clever Baby Nursery Design For The Whole Family
This nursery has an interesting design and space-saving solutions to get inspired. If you have the only extra room that used to be your kind of den, you need to figure out how to turn it into a space which is sort of baby-friendly but also where all members would feel comfortable hanging out. That’s actually what mom of a kid named Chase had to do, and I think she did it with flying colors! The room is in calm neutral colors but has some statement and bold pieces like black crib and orange artworks on the wall. It looks really cozy and I think it’ll be a perfect gathering place for family and friends to enjoy the new baby.
Beautiful Morning-Inspired Gender-Neutral Nursery
This beautiful nursery is cool, bright and gender-neutral because the parents who had designed it decided to keep the gender a surprise. They had only a very small space to work with but wanted to create a calming environment that would transition well for either gender. The chosen theme was “Oh what a beautiful morning” – a song that the mother’s grandmother sang to her as a child. Choosing the color palette of mint and orange they decorated the room using photographs of sunrises from various settings around the globe. The finishing touches – a decal with Baby G’s moniker and a photo of the sunrise from the hospital room that morning were added once the little one arrived…a baby boy!
Unique Monkies Shoes For Kids To Draw On Again And Again
These Monkies shoes are not only beautiful because of their cool, retro high top looks, but also and most importantly because of their endless possibilities. Your kid can decorate them on his or her own using just seven magic pens. But as soon as a child gets bored with the drawing, you can just use a special sponge that comes with the shoes and erase it all, so that the design process could be started all over again. At the same time you may not worry that your kid’s drawings on these shoes will be spoiled as soon as he or she walks in the rain or snow, because they’re waterproof and snowproof. Monkies shoes are available in sizes from 28 to 38 for children from 2 years and up to 10. Check them out!
Magical DIY Lava Bottle
This science project will be a great craft for your kids at their free time. You can make it with your children or they can make it by themselves. You will need a plastic water bottle, empty (tall and skinny bottle), food coloring and alka seltzer tablets. Fill 3/4 of the bottle with vegetable oil. Then fill the rest of the bottle with water, leaving about an inch from the top. Now add food coloring, adding about 10 drops. Now break up alka seltzer tablet into several pieces (about 4) and have your child drop them into the solution one at a time and observe the effect! Now repeat with the other bottles, using different food coloring. Enjoy!
Three New Comfy And Eco-Friendly Children’s Cradles From Woodly
Woodly is an Italian brand that produces eco-furniture and its accessories, cots and beds for children’s room. They have really a fresh eye on designs and I love that they’re doing their best to give our kids total comfort. In their new collection there’re three coolest cradles – Roll, Pluma and Montessori. First one is great for a baby because of its hanging function and possibility to swing side to side, which allows your kid to sleep easier. The second one is a nest made of pure, hand-sewn wool and it’s for those who like things closer to the ground. And the last but not least is a floor bed for when your child is slightly older, it gives total freedom to climb on and off. What is more, buying one of these cradles you help a planet: Woodly is planting a tree for each unit sold. Isn’t it awesome?
DIY Heart Blocks For Developing Your Kids
Alphabet blocks are cool because kids can use them to spell new words! To make your own ones you will need wooden hearts, craft paint in pastels and black and a paint brush. Paint a base coat on all your hearts. This will probably take up to two coats of paint, on both sides. Draw your letters in marker or pencil before you paint. Paint letters on each block. Do the entire alphabet plus extra vowels. You can put more letters on the back sides if you want more options. Seal with an acrylic sealer. And we are sure that it’s a cute Valentine’s gift for your kids!
