Amazing DIY Milk Light House

Fri, Mar 21, 2014 | DIY Projects

It’s really nice when you can spend some time with your kids, especially when you create something with them. For this craft you will need empty milk cartons, spray paint, glue and/or double-sided tape, ruler, tracing paper, pencil, scissors, cutting knife and tealight candle. Rinse the cartons and let them dry. Close the opening with some glue or double-sided tape. Then spray paint your cartons and let dry. Draw windows on your house, wherever you like them. You can place them only on the front but also on the sides. Now cut the windows with a sharp cutting knife. Make an opening at the back of your house, where you can insert your tea light. The rest of the tutorial is here.

Cute DIY Felt Headband Clips For Girls

Fri, Mar 21, 2014 | DIY Projects

We are sure that your daughter is a little lady and really loves accessories (we won’t be surprised that even more than you). So make this simple and colorful craft with your baby girl. You will need colored felt, embroidery floss, needle, clip and hot glue gun. Trace desired shape on the felt and cut out two of them, a back and front. Sew around the edge with the embroidery floss. If you want to use stuffing to give it a little shape, leave a small opening, fill it and then sew it closed. Keep stitching to your hearts content. Once the sewing is complete, add a line of glue to the clip and stick it to the backside. Clip the shapes to any headband.

Adorable DIY Paper Plate Cat In The Hat

Thu, Mar 20, 2014 | DIY Projects

Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat is probably one of the most loved characters for kids. So, I think it’s a great idea to make this easy craft with your tot and display in your home. The supplies are white paper plate, construction paper (red, white and black), scissors, googly eyes, glue and black marker. Begin with cutting a large red hat out of a sheet of construction paper. Then cut the white construction paper into 1-inch strips, place them on the hat and cut again to make them fit. Glue the white stripes to the hat and attach the hat to a plate. Then cut out the ears, six whiskers a bow and together with googly eyes glue them to the plate, too. Finally, with a marker draw a cat’s face. Done!

Creative And Stylish Baby Boy’s Nursery Design Inspiration

Wed, Mar 19, 2014 | Kids room

The first word that came to my mind when I saw the photos of this room was “creative”. I’m just thrilled with mom, photographer Alicia Thurston’s sense of style, an ability to match so many different yet so cool things together. What a lucky boy is gonna live and grow up here! I love that she painted the walls in grey color but make the room look so eye-popping and interesting with bright orange, blue and red details. The nursery doesn’t look babyish at all, it’s fun, whimsy, and there won’t be a problem to redecorate the room when the kid gets older. So, what do you think?

Delicate Mint And Blush Nursery For A Baby Girl

Tue, Mar 18, 2014 | Kids room

This room is a really nice place for a little girl. the mom of baby girl Betsy Belle has a great taste and this nursery doesn’t have too many girlish elements of design but it’s really cute and sweet. You can see on these pics a great combination of new and old things. For example, an adorable changing table that was a vintage dining room hutch gives the room a little vintage feeling. The rain cloud mobile made the room more fun and girly. Also the parents added to mint and blush some gold color, for example, a gold frame, gold polka dots pillows and gold décor elements. No doubt that this baby girl will live in harmony and style!

Fri, Mar 14, 2014 | Party theme

I think that one of the best experiences from childhood is camping, and it’s always worth revisiting. Why not making a kid’s birthday party in that theme? It’s a sure win! Just imagine how great it would be for a kid who really loves hiking, adventuring all day and then listening to scary stories by the fire while drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows. Laura Coggins of Little Frills brought all of that joy to her 4 year old son. Every detail is so cool from the cake with a topper reminding the woods to the cute banner and adorable badges. Take a closer look to the gallery below to see all of the tricks and ideas.
