In today’s party inspiration it’s all about magical wishes and wishes coming true. That’s the idea that formed the basis of Genie’s 6th birthday party. Instead of picking some typical bright colors, Genie’s mom and also a designer of this amazing party, gave preference to a sweeter and lighter color palette, which is much more appropriate for a little girl’s birthday. Also there’s no particular theme, the party’s design is traditional but with a sweet and shiny little touches. I especially love the “Wish” letters and a meaningful cake topper hopefully with a genie inside. All in all, I bet that the party was really magical and granted many wishes. Get inspired!

Cutie And Stylish Pink Nursery For A Baby Girl
Do you really love pink color? And what about your baby girl? Of course, yes! So today we wanna tell you of this adorable girlish nursery. This room was made for little girl named Lucy. All the elements of design are chosen in pink, white and red shades. The nursery looks very light and has a lot of space. You can see a rocking chair in the corner of the room, sometimes parents use it to rock their daughter to sleep. Despite all tenderness of this room, the artworks in the frames on the wall and toys add some fun and fit the design very well.
Colorful DIY Paper Plate Fish For Your Kids
Looking for some easy craft to get your kids busy and creative? Take a look at this cute idea! You only need paper plates, scissors and some glue to get started. There’re four easy steps: begin with a colorful paper plate, cut a small triangle from it (looks like a Pacman, isn’t it?), tape the triangle to the back of the plate to get the tail and then decorate the way you like, drawing eyes, attaching flowers, bows, dots and whatever else. The possibilities are endless! If your kids prefer drawing, then instead of colorful plates give them white ones and a pack of crayons and markers. Have fun!
Funny DIY Spongeballs To Play With Your Kids
Sometimes it’s so fun to play water games. Make these colorful spongeballs and arrange a water fight! You will need sponges, scissors for cutting the sponges apart and string for tying. Cut each sponge in half and each half in half again so you end up with four pieces per sponge. Gather eight strips in your hand and give them a tight twist. Then tie a piece of string around the middle of the sponges and secure with a knot. Now trim the tails of the string and fluff up the spongy tentacles. Soak in water and launch at anyone nearby!
Modern Sports Nursery Design For A Baby Boy
This nursery for a baby boy Jett certainly stands out among others with all polished, modern and geometric design. Mom and also the designer of this place says that the whole concept of the modern sports room began with a rug. It’s easy to see that its colors are reflected everywhere in the room. All together it looks really great: the main color palette of grays and whites is really simple and neutral, but together with emerald green pops it makes this space contemporary and original. Everything has its own place and purpose, and I love this really clean, simple and kind of crispy look that the room has. What do you think?
Cute DIY Egg Carton Flower Wreath To Make With Your Kid
Wanna make something for decor with your kids? Something beautiful and bright? You will need an egg carton tray, a piece of cardboard (cut in a circle with a smaller circle on the inside), paint, scissors, glue and ribbon. Cut out each little egg holding section. Cut down towards the center of each piece without going all the way to the middle. There is no art to creating the flowers so don’t worry about getting things perfect. Have your child paint the flowers in any way their little heart pleases. Paint the round cardboard cut out while your child paints to allow it to dry before gluing down the flowers. Once the flowers have completely dried, glue down each flower. Tie a ribbon to the wreath and hang.
Modern DIY Stained Glass Vases To Make With Your Kid
Many modern artists, like Tom Fruin, choose stained glass as their expression in sculptures. Sounds exciting, right? Let’s create our own “stained glass”, using just a bowl or a vase, tissue paper in different colors and mod podge. Begin with cutting pieces of tissue paper in geometric, hearts or whatever else shapes. Then just paint a little mod podge on the glass, place the tissue on the glass and follow up with a thin coat of mod podge. Cover the glass completely or make a pattern. Even if you chose the second option, cover the empty spaces with mod podge anyway for an interesting effect. Put some flowers into your vase and enjoy!
Funny DIY Giraffe Sock Puppet For Kids
If you have many pairs of socks, you can try to make a really nice toy for your kids. You will need an old sock, one brown pipe cleaner, two brown pom poms, two googly eyes, brown and black paint, paint brush, glue gun and wire clippers. Cut the pipe cleaner into 4 pieces. 2 pieces are 1″ inch long, 2 pieces are 2″ inches long. Bend the longer pieces in half to form the ears. With the glue gun, glue one end of the shorter pieces into the center of the pom poms. These are the giraffe horns. Get your paint and brush ready, and it should be slightly watery. If you’re using thicker paints, it will be much harder to get it to sink into the sock fibers. You can see the rest of the tutorial here.
