We never really know if those craft paints for kids are non-toxic, so how about making our own color paints with the ingredients straight out of the pantry? You’ll need baking soda, vinegar, cornstarch, corn syrup, spouted mixing bowl, measuring cups, whisk, food coloring and ice cub tray. Begin with measuring 1 cup of baking soda and pouring it into the mixing bowl. Then slowly pour ¾ cup of vinegar into the bowl, wait for it to stop bubbling and with the whisk mix the two ingredients together. Next add 2 tbsp of corn syrup to the mix and 1 cup of cornstarch. Whisk the mixture until it’s well combined. Read what to do next at allparenting.com.

This craft is very original and easy-to-make. You can make it with your kids, they will be really happy to help you with that! Add some color to your life! Cool DIY Batman Bedside Lamp For A Nursery
Are your kids big Batman fans? If your answer is yes, this DIY is for you! Your kids will be so happy, if you make it. It’s very easy and you will need a metal cage work light, that you can hook to the wall, a mask and the necessary wall anchors to fix your lamp. The metal cage part of the lamp is very important because it allows the bulb to never come in contact with the mask — which could be a fire hazard. You can choose any superhero mask, for example, Disney characters. Voila! Your kids got an unique lamp!
Vivid And Perfectly Organized Boys Bedroom Design
When I first saw this room I thought it’s really expensive and just incredibly organized. My second feeling is kind of undeniable, I mean just look at those perfect shelves with all of the kids’ stuff and globes put low to high. But as for the first one, I was surprised, because most of the furniture, including those amazing shelves and vivid red bunk bed are from IKEA. I love the way colors in this room match together and there are no single splashes of one color, each of them is somehow repeated in some other element in another part of the room. All is thought over to perfection! Take a closer look and maybe you also find something inspiring for you here.

Colorful DIY Geometric Wall Hanging For A Nursery
This geometric wall hanging will be a perfect mobile for a nursery. You will need just a geometric mobile, shrinkey dink paper, scissors, oven tray and cooling rack, string and branch. Print your download onto the shrinkey dink paper, following the paper’s instructions. Place on your baking tray and bake as per your paper’s requirements. Once your shrinkey dink shapes have cooled, glue the string to the back of your shapes in sets of three. Now secure to your branch. Then tie an extra loop of string across the top of your branch so you can hang your mobile on the wall.
Calm And Eclectic Nursery With Surf Themed Elements
I love eclectic rooms which don’t really stick to one theme. Today’s nursery is about the dreamy surf theme, but the accents and elements, which highlight it, are unobtrusive and perfectly combine with modern elements like fancy pillows and a rug as well as vintage ones like that dresser. My favorite item here is probably dip-dyed curtains from Target, although I first thought that they were handmade. I’m also very thrilled with those cutest hanging plates with these amazing sea world creatures. All in all, the room is very calm, relaxed and so-so cozy! Take a look and tell me what you think of it.
Easy-To-Make DIY Polymer Clay Bead Necklace
This craft is simple and you can make it with your kids. They’ll like it! You will need polymer blade, awl, texture tool and clay punches. After conditioning the clay with pasta machine roll it into different size balls and use a few punches for the bead shapes. If you don’t have a pasta machine, using your hands is just as good. The children can add a little texture themselves. Before curing them in the oven use the awl to make a hole straight through the middle to make them string-able. Bake and let cool, then take the beads and rub them with contrasting paint to bring out the texture. That’s all!
Sweet Vintage-Inspired Little Princess Birthday Party
Princess themed birthday party is a win-win idea because most little girls dream to become a princess even for just a day. For Leah’s third birthday Sparkles and Vintage event designers brought this theme to life adding some glittery gold along with vintage décor. There’s so much charm in this event from the knight welcoming the guests to lovely tea party table settings with little shimmery gold crowns for every sweet guest. I’m also touched by these cute pink plates with a princess’s set with a comb and a magic wand. Looking at the kids’ happy faces we can be sure that the party went well. Take a look and get inspired!
