Colorful And Contemporary Interior Ladders For Kids

Fri, Jun 27, 2014 | Kids room

The best kid’s rooms are those that are functional, comfy yet fun and fit into the vision for a playful space that a child would want to spend time in. So, it’s important to look for a new direction when decorating your children’s room and make the most of the available space. If you agree with me, then you gonna love these original ladders called KidsLofty from Alegre Industrial Studio, which can give kids access to the lofts, where they rest, play and have fun. They go in three super fun designs – Snake, Square and the Tube.  They all measure up to the strictest safety standards possible, so there’s nothing to worry about. Be sure to check them out!

Cute DIY Cardboard Tube Owls

Fri, Jun 27, 2014 | DIY Projects

If you care about ecology, you can use recycled materials for craft projects with kids. This way you can also teach them to love and protect our nature. You will need cardboard tubes (toilet paper or paper towel tubes), scrap paper or recycled paper, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, felt and tacky glue. Gather empty toilet paper rolls around the house. Fold the top of the toilet paper rolls down toward the middle to form the owls ears. Cut up various scraps of textured and colored paper, pipe cleaners and felt scraps to use for the craft. Cut the orange felt into little triangles to use for the beak. Apply glue to the various textured papers and pipe cleaners. Attach wings, textures, beak, googly eyes and any other decorations you want to use. Your kids will like these toys!

A dream catcher is the sweetest thing to make with your little ladies. It’s a perfect accessory above a bed or anywhere else visible and a reminder of kid’s inspiring dreams. For this one you’ll need brass metal hanger, colorful yarn, scissors, hot glue gun, feathers and variety of paint chips. First form hanger into a heart shape. Then find the curved point and extend it so the point is now straight. Cut 8 foot length of yarn, tie and glue the yarn at the bottom of the heart. Elegant DIY Wire Clouds For A Nursery

Thu, Jun 26, 2014 | DIY Projects

This idea is really good for you if you’d like to decorate a nursery with something cute and handmade. You will need just floral wire, wire cutters, paint, paint brush, washi tape, paper and pencil. First of all twist your wire into the shape of your template. Then cut the wire so that the ends meet. Now use a small piece of your washi tape and connect the open ends of your cloud. This is a good time to make some smoothing out of the wire and really work at getting the shape you want. Then paint your wire cloud in whatever color you like. That’s all!

Funny DIY Kitty Bag For A Girl

Tue, Jun 24, 2014 | DIY Projects

This craft is very easy-to-make and your baby girl will like it! You will need printable pattern, suede, cord, rick rack, elastic trim, burlap, batting, safety pin, embroidery floss, marker for fabric, needle, pins, scissors and sewing machine. Download the pattern, scale to 180,6% , print out and transfer to fabric. Cut out two kitty shaped pieces adding a 0.3” seam. Take one of the kitty pieces right side out; draw face and tail. Then thread your needle with the whole floss and embroider. Use backstitches for all the lines and straight stitches for filling pupils. Match up two fabric pieces right sides together. Take the cord and sandwich inside, with its ends poking out. Sew all together in two parts: start sewing first from belly bottom to the top of the kitten back. The rest of the tutorial is here.

Modern Black And White Kid’s Bedroom With Bright Splashes Of Yellow

Mon, Jun 23, 2014 | Kids room

If you’re into monochromatic kid’s room design, then today’s article is totally for you! It’s one of the best examples of modern kid’s rooms I’ve seen with only 3 colors in use. As the designer Little Liberty says, the black and white Nordic trees make a bold statement and immediately gives the room vibrance and an edge, while bright yellow accents brings some fun and joy. I really love the way she mixed all of the patterns here from those fabulous trees to stripes. My favorite detail here is probably this chalkboard wall for all of the kid’s creative thoughts and ideas. Such a lovely job! Take a look!

Nice DIY Portable Doll Dress-Up Board

Sat, Jun 21, 2014 | DIY Projects

Sometimes your kids even don’t need an expensive toy to be happy, sometimes it’s so simple that you can’t imagine! For this toy you will need cardboard, felt, glue, markers, pom-poms, scissors, sandwich bag / small ziplock bag, tape, buttons and beads. Gather up your supplies. Glue white felt to the cardboard to use as the base of the board. Then cut out a little person shape from some tan felt. Add some hair and eyes and draw on a face. Then add a bathing suit as the base so the dolly is never without clothes. Glue all these pieces on. To create the clothes first you can draw an outline of a dress. Then cut out the dress. Tape a sandwich bag to the back of the cardboard. Enjoy!
