This gorgeous SISSY + MARLEY Lucky Star wallpaper is unforgettable, so you might remember that we have already shared photos of this room for baby Sebastian with you a while ago. Although it has undergone changes as well as Sebastian grew up a little. The room is still right on trend with the black and white, but acquired some new and very cool furniture and décor details. I really love this smart and modern workspace along with large Legos and simply gorgeous leather dresser with sweet letter “S” above it. Everything looks so stylish, beautiful and sophisticated in a way! I think a young man would love to spend his time here. Take a look!

Entertaining DIY Contact Paper Dolls
Your kids will like this idea because all children like to play dolls! You will need contact paper, tape, scissors, scrapbook paper, card stock paper and markers. Draw a gingerbread-like figure onto a sheet of card stock and cut it out. Then draw a face. Then grab several sheets of scrapbook paper and flip them upside down. Outline the boy’s arms and legs. To make a shirt cut around the arms and then snip off the legs and hands. Add a little flair by drawing buttons, lace, shirt pockets and stitching. Make a really big wardrobe for your doll. Now your kids can start to play!
Nice Vintage-Inspired Nautical Baby Boy’s Nursery Design
Mixing vintage and nautical themes in a nursery sounds like a great idea to me. I love how it all came together and turned out in a nice and calm baby boy Hank’s space filled with the wood trim elements and statement nautical décor pieces and art. I love how simple yet pretty the accent wall with anchor print looks. It’s amazing that the books are put next to the rocker, so it’d be easy to reach them for bedtime stories. All in all, the nursery has a very calm and perfect vintage feel yet it fits the nautical theme, which is great for a baby boy. Take a closer look to all of the details and get inspired!
Cute DIY Bendable Wire Mummy
This project you can make with your kids, it’s funny and easy-to make! You will need just wire (outdoor garden wire, 5 feet), old t-shirt and tacky glue (optional). Bend the wire into the shape of a figure (depending on your child’s age, you may need to help him or her with this). Cut up some strips of old fabric then tie a knot of fabric around the wire waist. Wrap the fabric around the wire in multiple angles and directions. Create multiple layers to make your mummy thicker or fewer layers if you want your mummy to be skinnier. Add a dab of glue to the end of the fabric and tuck the end into the “gauze”.
Stylish DIY Little Girl Pleated Purse To Make
Every little girl dreams to be a grown-up woman as soon as possible: to wear purses, makeup, heels and so on. Make her dream come true at least by sewing this charming little purse to carry her essentials and all in all to look stylish and cool. It’s not that difficult as it may seem at first so gather the list of supplies and go get crafty! You’ll need 1/4” yard of outer fabric (like quilting cotton), 1/2” yard of lightweight iron on interfacing, 1/8” yard of lining fabric, 1 1-inch button and basic sewing supplies. Begin with cutting your fabric to the dimensions shown in the chart at makeit-loveit.com. There you also find all step-by-step instructions. Enjoy!
Sweet And Funny DIY Jumbo Popsicle Garland For Kid’s Party
If a popsicle happens to be your kid’s favorite sweet treat, use it in his or her birthday theme. I mean not only ordering enough popsicles to satisfy the kid’s sweet tooth, but also making something like this funny garland. For this you need X-acto knife, cutting mat, scissors, giant popsicle sticks, masking tape, hot glue gun and pool noodles. First of all cut the pool noodles into 5” lengths using the X-acto knife. Then apply hot glue to half of the popsicle stick and attach it into the inside of pool needle. Read what to do next at ohhappyday.com and enjoy your sweet garland!
Awesome DIY Mini Gnome Houses
Do your kids like magic characters? If yes, make little gnomes with their houses for them. For making houses you will need toilet paper rolls, felt, scissors, watercolor paint, paint brush and hot glue gun. Paint the toilet paper rolls a color of your choice. Create the gnome house door by cutting an “L” shape into the paper roll. To create the gnome house roof cut an isosceles triangle out of the felt with a 7.5″ base and 6″ sides. Fold the triangle together and using the hot glue gun, glue the edges together. Add the felt roofs to the gnome houses and play!
Awesome DIY Wood Music Instruments
This project isn’t so easy, but your kids will like these music instruments, so you should make them! You will need scrap wood or wood kit, 1/4″ wide x 1/8″ thick, flat wooden dowel, 1/2″ diameter wooden dowel, 3/8″ diameter wooden dowel, mini embroidery hoops, rubber bands, large jingle bells, pipe cleaners, acrylic paints, foam brushes, paintbrushes, wood glue, minwax polycrylic finish, double-sided tape, pencil, hacksaw, power drill with 1/16″ drillbit, rough grit (80) sandpaper/block, fine/medium sandpaper/block and cloth. For making percussion block, saw your wooden block down. Saw flat wooden dowel down into tiny slats that are the same width as your wooden block. Using the rough grit sandpaper, sand any rough areas on the block down then finish with the fine sandpaper. The rest of the tutorial is here.
Modern Baby Girl Nursery With A Graphic Accent Wall
If you’re looking for kid’s room design inspiration that is not too ‘girly’ yet very modern, stylish and fun, you gonna love this space! Mom and the designer of today’s nursery isn’t much of a ‘pink’ girl herself, so for her baby girl she wanted a semi gender neutral space. It looks awesome and pretty now and when the kid gets a bit older it can be easily adopted according to her tastes and interests. My favorite part of the room is probably this graphic and modern feature wall, it certainly makes a statement, an accent and fits perfectly the whole mood of the room. I love calm colors and clean lines and I think that baby would feel really comfy here.
Original DIY Cork Bumblebee Mobile
It’s a nice craft because it’s simple and you have almost all the supplies at hand. You will need wine corks, black and yellow paint, plastic string, round push board pins, brush, scissors, hot glue gun, fishing line, cord and garden plants for bees. Paint one of the wine corks yellow. Paint two black stripes around the cork. Stick one red pushpin into the cork top for the nose and then two for the eyes. Fold an 8 inch piece of plastic lace string and then bend and glue the strings centered on top of the bee’s body to make the wings. Take your wild plants, bend and intertwine branches to make a circle. String to fix ends. Divide the plant circle into three parts and tie one strand of fishing line to each point. Leave one of them long enough to hang the mobile. Tie a strand of fishing line to each cork bee. Add bees to the plants and enjoy!
