Easy-To-Make DIY Target Game For Kids

Tue, Sep 2, 2014 | DIY Projects

This game will bring your kids so much fun! And it’s easy-to-make, so you will make it for 30 minutes but your kids will play all day long. For making it you will need a piece of cardboard (approx 5″ x 5″), colored tape, string and toy gun and toy bullets (or something similar). Cut the electrical tape into squares and place them in a pixelated pattern on the cardboard. If your cardboard is already white, the kids can just place out black tape squares right onto the cardboard. If you use regular brown cardboard, paint it white before placing the tape. Tape the string to the back of your cardboard and hang it. Kids can tie theirs in the hallway to 2 door knobs. The string allows the targets to swing when kids will hit them. Voila!

Amazing DIY Pacifier Clips For Your Child

Fri, Aug 29, 2014 | DIY Projects

I just want to applaud the person who came up with such a simple yet genius idea – pacifier clips. With them you’ll keep those pacifiers readily available and they won’t be dropped or lost. The supplies are cotton fabric 2 ¼ x 9 inch rectangle, fusible interfacing 2 ¼ x 9 inch rectangle, heavy string, coordinating thread and 1 inch pacifier clip. First you need to cut a piece of cotton fabric and interfacing, both 2 ¼ x 9 inches. Then cut a piece of cotton string 7 inches long. Iron the interfacing onto the wrong side of your fabric, fold it in half lengthwise and sew the long edges together. Continue at makeit-loveit.com.

Funny DIY Chalk Hair For Your Girl

Fri, Aug 29, 2014 | DIY Projects

Wanna add more colors to your kids’ life? Make this DIY! Just follow our step-by-step instruction and your girl will look so adorable and cute! You’ll need chalk pastels, a spray bottle, a towel and rubber gloves. Now wet the strand of hair you want to chalk. Starting at the top of the strand you want colored, gently rub the chalk pastel over the wet strand. You can also try just dipping the tip of the chalk in water and rubbing it on the hair as well. Let hair air dry. Shake off the excess pigment. When your kid will be ready to remove the color, simply wash with shampoo.

DIY Navy And White Paper Lantern Mobile For Your Baby

Thu, Aug 28, 2014 | DIY Projects

No nursery can do without a mobile, so today we offer you to create this original mobile for your baby. Baby lanterns should be hung by seven hooks, evenly place in two rows on the ceiling. Center and space the hooks based on the dimensions of a standard crib since baby mobile won’t be in kid’s cradle for more than the first six to eight months. Make sure to prevent the ceiling from crumbling and screw in the hooks by sticking a small piece of masking tape over mark. After each of the hooks is up, tear off the masking tape around the hook so the white hooks will blend in better with the bluish, grayish, whitish ceiling. Add some blue ribbons and voila!

Happy And Bright Boys’ Nursery Design Inspiration

Wed, Aug 27, 2014 | Kids room

Today’s nursery doesn’t really fit any certain theme, it’s simply cheerful and bright. Mom Janette just wanted to incorporate in her boys’ space pretty much anything that she really loved and that fits this sunny and happy mood. I really love the way it turned out! My favorite piece here is probably the wall of “Things that Go” artwork, which not only looks amazing but also gives mom and the boys many precious minutes to play “where’s the tractor?” together. Everything looks so simple yet very clean and stylish. I think it’d be awesome for the kids to grow up here. What do you think?

Creative DIY Balloon Garland To Make With Kids

Wed, Aug 27, 2014 | DIY Projects

This garland is the simplest decoration and it takes 10 minutes. You can make it with your kids, they’ll like to make their house or room more beautiful. You will need red balloons, red or white baker’s twine, scotch tape, green paper, scissors and glue gun. Blow up some balloons so they are small enough to group in small clumps as berries. With scotch tape attach a little to the balloon and stick to another. Group in threes or twos. Then cut out holly leaves in proportion to the size of the balloons. Now draw yellow veins onto the leaves. Tie the groups of berries onto the twine and leave extra twine at the front and back. Glue the edges of the leaves to the edge of the balloon and a bit to the twine to secure it in place. That’s all!
