Useful DIY Pouf For A Nursery

Tue, Oct 14, 2014 | DIY Projects

If you wanna add something cute and funny to your kids’ room, this craft is for you! Let’s make a pouf. Cut out 8 diamonds of fabric – 4 in the tulip fabric and 4 in a lightweight turquoise corduroy. Sew down one of the ends of each diamond about 3 inches. Then sew together pairs of tulip and corduroy so that you’ll have 4 pairs. Sew together pairs so that you have 2 groups of 4 panels. After that, sew together the 2 sets so you have complete pouf and flip it inside out. Pick up big box of stuffing and use almost all of it to stuff the pouf. Stuff your pouf nice and full, making sure fill out the shape evenly and don’t have any lumpy sides. Cut an 8-inch octagon out of the tulip fabric, finish the edges and then hand sew it onto the top of the pouf. That’s all!

Cozy Boy’s Room With Retro Touches In A Country House

Thu, Oct 9, 2014 | Kids room

After moving to a country house interior designer Eugenia Zhdanova had to find a way to make a beautiful room for her boy there. The only available room is pretty small and has a rather complex, attic-like configuration, and that limits the design opportunities. However, only in two weeks being also low on budget, she managed to create such a creative, fun and cozy space, which is perfect for all crafting, reading, drawing, playing and sleeping. It has a plenty of handmade things, industrial retro motifs and elements, its style fits the whole interior of a log home very harmoniously. All in all, I love that the feeling of this room is very homely. I think a child would really enjoy spending time here. What do you think?
