Tue, Oct 21, 2014 | DIY Projects

Make this headband for you kids, it’s easy and they can create it by their hands. You will need felt (brown, orange, red, yellow), scissors, string, tacky glue and hole puncher. Gather your materials. Cut different colors of felt into feather shapes so your children can pick and choose which ones they want. Cut the brown felt into two strips. Now let your kids pick out their feathers and glue them to one of the brown strips. Once they are done decorating their headbands, make two holes on each end of the brown strips. Tie the two brown strips together with some sort of string. Let the glue dry for a few hours before trying to wear the headband.

Mon, Oct 20, 2014 | DIY Projects

If you’re looking for a Halloween decoration for your house that your kids will like too, pay attention on these magnets. They are very simple and don’t take up too much space. For this project you will need smooth rocks, paint, paint markers, magnets, strong adhesive and clear coat. Choose the smaller, flatter rocks. Remember that if they are too big and heavy, they won’t stay put. Paint them up into Halloween creatures. You and your kids can create various characters for these rocks. For example, ghosts, black cats and funny monsters. Apply a clear coat if you wish. Use a strong adhesive to connect the magnet to the backside. That’s all!

This game will be great for your kids. It’s good for teaching fine motor skills, pre-reading and basic math. You will need printable fence, scissors, tape, green felt, white pompoms or cotton balls, clothespins, spoon and tray (optional). Prepare the field for the sheep by laying out a piece of green felt. Start by cutting out a basic mask shape. To cut the shapes, hold the felt up to kids’ face to give you a guide of how wide to make the mask, and where the nose and eye holes should be. Create two pieces of felt per mask. Add glue to one side of masks. Stuck two ribbons on the glue-covered masks. Then place the other mask piece on top of the glue. Allow the glue to fully dry. Dainty And Sweet Baby Girl Nursery Inspiration

Thu, Oct 16, 2014 | Kids room

It’s all about girly charm, sweetness and elegance in today’s nursery inspiration. Mom of little lady Ella Rose just as soon as she knew her baby’s gender pictured exactly what she wanted for her nursery. She’s a lover of neutrals, everything feminine, soft and sweet, so she wanted a nursery, which is sophisticated yet has some hints of little girl coming through in the details. All in all, I think she designed it perfectly, and you instantly feel at ease even when you’re simply looking at the photos. My favorite element here is probably frame wall décor, which looks so unusual, stylish and unique! I think it’s a great idea of how to fill a blank wall. Take a look to the photos below to find more fabulous ideas and inspiration.

It’s not only just good to breathe some fresh air, but also it’s a good chance for a kid to recognize and name all of the leaves. After that you can take your paints and make this autumn leaf print craft, which is very easy and fun. Blend your paints to make more shades, you can even add here some spices. Then do your painting on a big roll of paper, dipping leaves in plates with paint and making stamps with them on the paper. The possibilities are endless, so enjoy and let your imagination run wild!
