If your family spends free time at home, it doesn’t mean that you and your kids should be bored. We have a good idea for you! You will need clear contact, scissors, sticky tape, a window and anything you like to decorate with (for example, you can use colored matchsticks, bottle tops and pattypans). First of all cut a large square of clear contact and tape it to your window with the sticky side out. You can put tape in each corner and halfway along each side so it won’t move or bunch up when you pull things off. Your matchsticks (or whatever you have chosen to work with) will stick to the adhesive and allow you and your kids to build pictures. Now it’s time to make some pictures on your window. Let your kids create!

Danish-Scandinavian Kids’ Bedrooms By OYOY
If you love kids’ spaces that totally comply with modern design and Danish-Scandinavian’s simplicity, today’s rooms’ photos would be just the most enjoyable for you. Muted tones, whimsy toys, unusual yet clean furniture shapes and lots of light – everything is so stylish and impossibly beautiful! Everything in these bedrooms is a work of talented folks standing behind the Danish brand OYOY, which used to design furniture and home accessories for an adult audience mainly, but recently devoted their products for babies in a new MINI OYOY collection. I think that rooms like that can easily grow with kid without undergoing too many changes, so it makes it wonderful for parents who are looking for a “long-lasting” design. Take a look and get inspired!
Bright DIY Popsicle Stick Princess
Wanna make your own princess with your daughters? Let’s get started! For this craft you will need people-shaped wood craft sticks, scissors, colored cardstock, sequins, yarn, glue, markers and googly eyes. First cut out several princess dresses from cardstock. You can use the people-shaped craft sticks as a guide. Then cover the dresses in glue and add sequins and other embellishments. While the dresses will dry, add googly eyes and yarn hair. Then put lots of glue on the craft stick body and glue the dresses on in place. Also you can add little tiaras. So it’s time to play with princesses!
30 Awesome Grey Baby Nursery Decor Ideas
With a growing popularity of Scandinavian style interiors, lots of homeowners take a fancy for nurseries with restrained shades like gray, instead of the kid’s room turned into a “color fest”. It’s not surprising, because you’ve got plenty creative design opportunities with grey color and all of its shades range from the warm and cozy to the cool and cheerful. When you have such a neutral, clean and calming color you instantly get more ways to jazz up the space with different color accents, whether bright and contrasting or complementing and relaxing. What is more, grey color for a nursery is the best choice for those parents, who keep their child’s gender in secret for themselves and embrace gender-neutral style. Take a look at our gallery below with the most amazing grey nurseries to get inspired.
Awesome DIY Bird Feeder Play Set
Make this colorful bird feeder with cute felt birds and your kids will be excited! And maybe they’ll want to create a bird feeder for real birds. You will need printable templates, toilet paper rolls, plastic straws, cereal box or any cardboard, plastic bottle caps, felt, small clothespins, wrapping paper, mini pompoms, glue, pencil, marker and scissors. Take two toilet paper rolls, cut the top edge on one paper roll to fit inside the other one and glue together. Wrap it with a gift paper. Now let’s make a base for feeder! Cut out a 4¼ inches circle of cardboard glued to felt. Place the wrapped paper roll centered onto the cardboard circle and glue them together. Pierce paper rolls using scissors and put a plastic straw through. Take some felt and cut it into the size of your bottle caps. Next steps of the instruction are here.
Fresh Mint And Grey Modern Big Girl’s Bedroom
I think after today’s room photos the mint and grey color scheme has become my favorite one. They mix just perfectly: mint gives a space rather a cheerful vibe while grey calms it down a little, making the whole look of the room much cozier. If you’ve been following us lately and saw the rooms that we shared, you might even recognize the signature of Little Liberty’s design here with all its modern aesthetic, impeccable style and furniture organization. This project was done for a 10 year old girl, and I think Nicole reflected wonderful teen spirit so beautifully! The room turned out to be such a fresh young space to hang out with friends or do some serious homework. I’d love to live there myself, really! Get inspired!
Cute DIY Recycled Doll Cradle For Kids
If your kids see this craft, they will ask you to make it for sure. It isn’t difficult, so let’s create this cradle for your kids’ toys. You will need oatmeal container, masking tape, craft knife, plastic coffee can lid, permanent marker, ruler, hot glue gun, glue, gesso primer, paintbrush, paint, cupcake paper, scissors and fabric scraps. To start, tape off the area that you will cut out for the cradle opening. Make sure that it is a large enough opening to see your doll. With the craft knife lightly score against the tape around the opening and slowly cut deeper until you have cut the opening piece out. For the cradle rocker base use the permanent marker and ruler to mark off two pieces of the coffee can lid, a little bit smaller than half the size of the lid. The rest of the tutorial is here.
