The school year has just began and who among us haven’t dreamt about going to Hogwarts and becoming a wizard instead of going to school? Well, at least kids definitely thought about it. How about a Harry Potter themed party or even just making a magician wand for fun? To make one you’ll need bamboo sticks, hand saw, lightweight spackling, craft stick, bamboo skewers, styrofoam, hot glue gun, hot glue sticks, acrylic paint, paintbrushes and foam brushes, assorted cores. First you need to cut the bamboo sticks down to various lengths of 9-12“, seal off its bottom with lightweight spackling and allow it to dry for 15 min. Set up your drying rack by pushing bamboo skewers into a block of styrofoam and heat up your glue gun. Then with hot glue create handle designs on the wands, paint them with acrylic paint and allow to dry. Cool, isn’t it?
