Green is not always one’s first thought for a child’s room. Sage green, sure, we see a lot of that especially in gender ambiguous nurseries. But it takes some serious courage of spirit to slather a vivid verde on those walls. There are many different shades of green: from apples to emeralds. If you like the braveness of some of these colors but you aren’t ready yet to paint the entire room with green, just try a less intense wall color with small pops of vivid green. You won’t regret it because the most attractive feature of green is that it gives cheerfulness and emotional calmness at the same time.
