Large DIY Dominoes For Playing Outdoors
I always loved to watch domino world championships. They are so creative and incredibly cool! With these giant wood dominoes you can either arrange something like that or simply play dominoes outside. I bet your kids will have so much fun playing with you! Basically, you just need 28 wooden boards cut down to 7” lengths. Then paint them with a chestnut stain and let dry. After that things may go a little bit crazy, because you will need to make the dots. But don’t get anxious, you just need some patience to make the templates and using them mark the dots. Cozy And Colorful Corner Nursery Design
I really admire people who can puzzle out a way to create a kid’s nursery in a tiny corner. The mom and dad of little Frea had to share their bedroom with their baby because of the lack of space. So, they needed to feel like they belong to this room as much as the baby. They included a lot of white and nice textures for a relaxing, cozy and happy look and with a few pops of bright colors that gave the room a personality. I really love everything about this nursery, and think that parents truly did a great job. If you’re currently dealing with the similar problem, be sure to take an example from them!
Colorful DIY Balloon Pop Painting Game
It’s such a nice idea for an outdoor activity! Fill about 40 balloons with paint and air so that your kids could pop them. To fill the balloons use a plastic condiment bottle with a long skinny tip. Pour the paints into the bottle one by one. Water each washable tempera color down a bit to save a little money and help the paint splatter from the balloons more. Squeeze the paint into the balloons and fill them with air. Once the balloons are filled tape them to poster board outside. For older kids you can give them darts to pop the balloons. We recommend having your kids wear sunglasses to protect their eyes from paint splatter. Your kids will have so much fun popping the balloons to make art!
Colorful DIY Seed Friendship Necklace For Kids To Make
This is a super easy project that any kid from 5 and up can manage on his or her own. Your child can make dozens of these colorful and pretty friendship necklaces for his or her friends and enjoy wearing them all together. The tutorial is beyond simple. All you need to do is to pick up some seed beads of different colors at some local hobby store and monofilament fishing wire. You can make so many different designs, the only limit here is your imagination! As soon as you’re done with stringing together the beads simply knot the ends together instead of using closures. Enjoy!
Sparkling DIY Constellation Light Box
It’s a perfect craft for those kids who like to play and learn something. You will need empty cereal box, 10 LED string lights, picture from your chosen constellation, reamer/punch, light blue, dark blue and dark green acrylic paints, brush, palette, white felt-tip pen, painter tape, glue and wall sticker. Open up the cereal box carefully. Mix the color as you like and paint the inside all over. Don’t use water, just the paint. Let it dry. Mark and draw the constellation on the cereal box. Also add the stars nearby. Punch holes in every marked star. Fit in the LED from the backside in only the main constellation. Tape the electric cord. Close the cereal box with the string lights inside and glue the two sides. Let it dry. Put in on a shelf or hang it on the wall, as you like. Now it’s time for watching the stars!
Colorful DIY Giraffe Nursery Art To Make
The animal trend is gaining popularity in kids’ rooms’ décor. Owls, foxes, giraffes… All of these adorable animals can settle in your child’s space in whatever whimsy form you want. Today we’re suggesting you to make this adorable and very colorful giraffe nursery art, which will sure add some pop of color to your baby’s room. The supplies are long and thin pieces of wood, wood pieces for the back (1 ½ wide x ¾ inches thick in size), a nail gun, white base paint and a variety of acrylic paints for painting the giraffes. First of all cut your shapes out of paper and place them on the wall where you’d like them to be and tape in place. Then start cutting wood to mimic your paper on the wall.
